My paintings are not about escaping reality, building some sort of image — on the contrary, I paint exactly what I think and feel. I do not paint in order to relax, self-regulate nor entertain because the practice of painting involves critical thinking.
I use visual elements to convey a message because I see no value in discussing something as intangible and so personal and ever changing as style, taste and opinion.
I try to move on for as long and as far as I come across patterns that seem resistant to time and place. So, I use painting as a communication tool to showcase beyond my personal experience that is truth.

Is an animal merely a decorative, domesticated property, to satisfy our aesthetic and social needs? (Law No. VIII-500).
The growing number of shelters and homeless dogs shows that we, as a society, remain immature, irresponsable and barely educated about this issue.
This exhibition challenges how we see and value animal life: from shelter overcrowding to breeding practices and even the fate of dogs in war zones.
A call for responsibility and change.
